Digital Teeth Impressions and 3D Scanning
Ready to see your smile in a whole new way?
We are excited about the new technology we use that can show you a complete picture of your mouth with the wave of a wand. Our digital scanner can quickly identify and show you the condition of your oral health. If you need an impression, a digital scan offers a more complete view with no sticky goop or gagging. Your scan also allows us to create a record that can monitor tooth wear and movement, allowing us to track changes over time. Did we mention no harmful radiation? With just one scan, our iTero scanner gives you a comprehensive view of your mouth and makes it easier to understand the next steps in your dental journey or treatment plan.

An on-screen simulator shows a side-by-side view of your teeth today, and how they could look after Invisalign® treatment.
If you are diagnosed with a dental condition, we are not just going to tell you that you need treatment - we will also show you why.
A colorful 3D image of your teeth can help you better understand your diagnosis and treatment options.

Intraoral Cameras
Now You Can See What We See.
At our dental practice, we use Mouthwatch intraoral camera which is basically a small wand that allows us to take close-up, high-resolution pictures of your teeth and gums that we can then display on a large monitors or TV screens in our operatories. With this technology we can uncover issues not visible with dental x-rays such as cracked teeth, plaque, hidden cavities next to fillings and excessive teeth wear. This helps us discover any oral problems early so we can prevent more invasive and more costly procedures in the future. It also enables you as a patient to gain a better understanding of your oral health since Dr. Tufa or our hygienists can go over your images with you and point out what they are seeing.
